Every year CBSE organize Roller Skating Competition in different parts of the country. There are more than 20 games that CBSE organizes and Roller skating is one of them. They believe, in fact, we all believe that sports activities help students to stay healthy and fit contributing to overall wellbeing.
CBSE Organizes games at Cluster / Zonal and National Level and After clearing the cluster, players get selected for Zonal level and if they achieve 1st (Gold) & 2nd (Silver) Place, they directly go to play Nationals.
Who Can Participate in CBSE Roller Skating Competition:
Schools, who have paid the registration fee can participate in the competition and if your school has paid the fee, you can participate. Normally, all CBSE schools can participate but boards other than CBSE needs to pay the registration fee to participate.

Once the CBSE Sports fee is paid by the school, the school will then register you online through CBSE web portal. More information can be found with your school’s sports teacher.
Age Criteria: A player shall be under 11; 14; 17; & 19 years of age as on 31.12.2019.
Accordingly, for session 2019-20 sports events, the age criteria will be as follows:
a. Under 11 years: Born on or after 01.01.2009
b. Under 14 years: Born on or after 01.01.2006
c. Under 17 years: Born on or after 01.01.2003
d. Under 19 years: Born on or after 01.01.2001
Similarly, age may be calculated for other age-groups also.
CBSE will display their sports calendar by the first week of August 2019 and Online ‘Registration of Students’ and ‘Apply to Participate’ for various sports events at Cluster/Zone/ National level will be done from 01.07.2019 to 10.08.2019. So make sure to contact your sports teacher in School to get yourself registered.
Tentative dates for cluster / zonal level is between 1st September 2019 to 15th October 2019
Last year, CBSE had organized Roller Skating Competition 2018-19 in Krishana Public School, Chhattisgarh. The same was organized between 27th to 30th November 2018.
Now, this time again CBSE will organize Roller skating Competition 2019-20 and we all are waiting for updates from CBSE because, as of now, they have not declared any dates of the competition.
We believe that everyone who takes part in the competition will be practicing very hard before participating but it will also be a good idea to learn about the previous results to see the min. time is taken by a skater to complete the CBSE Roller Skating race.
